Mark Hill is a native of Albuquerque and received his Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Technology (AASET) degree from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, in 1985. He spent 8 years in the R&D field at Sandia National Laboratories before moving into Semiconductor Manufacturing. He has worked for both Philips Semiconductor and the Intel Corporation as an Equipment and Process Technician. In September 2011, Mark joined Fraunhofer CSE as an Equipment and Electronics Technician. At the Center’s outdoor testing facility in Albuquerque, he develops technology for testing and evaluating PV modules and systems.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys playing the piano and Hammond Organ with local Blues and Jazz bands, and runs a recording studio in his home.
