The Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems (CSE) today announced a $1 million award from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to fund a joint clean technology commercialization program. The Fraunhofer CSE TechBridge Program will lead an effort with the New England Clean Energy Council (NECEC), Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) and the Association of Cleantech Incubators of New England (ACTION).

CFV Solar Test Laboratory, a PV certification test company jointly owned by CSA Group, the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, the Fraunhofer USA Center for Sustainable Energy Systems CSE, and VDE Testing and Certification Institute, today announced that they will locate their new solar module testing laboratory in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

CSA Group today announced a reciprocal testing services agreement for photovoltaic modules with Germany's VDE Testing and Certification Institute. In addition, CSA Group and VDE will work with the Fraunhofer USA Center for Sustainable Energy Systems (CSE) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE) to jointly open a new solar technology testing facility in the U.S. Southwest.
