The SunRISE TechBridge Challenge II

We are seeking innovative software and hardware technologies that reduce the LCOE of solar PV systems for The SunRISE TechBridge Challenge II. Winners will receive one or more awards including: $25,000 in technical validation services from Fraunhofer, 6 months of acceleration at Greentown, partnership and/or venture funding from DSM.

FOCUS: 2016 Smart Grid

Fraunhofer CSE's Executive Director Dr. Christian Hoepfner will be speaking at a panel on the current state of smart grid technology and standards at the German House in New York, NY on November 2 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The panel will address the resiliency of the smart grid to threats such as cybersecurity threats, regulations governing smart grid technology, as well as best practices in smart grid security.
